You can’t really go wrong when you have fluffy basmati rice and a beef stir-fry plated up for dinner. Especially when the stir-fry is coated in a umami hoisin sauce. It is just too good!

vinegar (white wine or rice wine)
• Thinly slice capsicum.
• In a large frying pan, heat a drizzle of olive oil over high heat. Cook beef mince
and sliced onion, breaking up with a spoon, until just browned, 2-3 minutes.
• Add trimmed green beans and capsicum, then cook until tender, 4-5 minutes.
• Add garlic paste and cook until fragrant, 1 minute.
• Remove pan from heat, then add hoisin sauce, the soy sauce, vinegar and
sesame oil blend and stir until combined.
• Meanwhile, microwave basmati rice until steaming, 2-3 minutes.
Little cooks: Help warm the rice with oven gloves and under adult supervision. Be
careful, the bowl can get hot!
• Divide rapid rice between bowls.
• Top with hoisin beef and capsicum stir-fry.
• Garnish with crispy shallots to serve. Enjoy!
