Cooking Steps

Roast the potato
1

• Preheat oven to 220°C/200°C fan-forced. • Cut potato into 0.5cm-thick rounds. • Place potato on a lined oven tray with a drizzle of olive oil and season with salt and pepper. • Toss to coat and roast until golden, 20-25 minutes. TIP: If your oven tray is crowded, divide the potatoes between two trays.

Get prepped
2

• Meanwhile, thinly slice spring onion. • Place your hand flat on top of each chicken breast and slice through horizontally to make two thin steaks. • In a large bowl, combine chicken, savoury seasoning, a pinch of salt and a drizzle of olive oil. Turn chicken to coat. Little cooks: Join the fun by combining the chicken with the seasoning!

Make the slaw
3

• In a second medium bowl, combine slaw mix, garlic aioli, spring onion and a drizzle of the white wine vinegar. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Little cooks: Get involved by combining the ingredients and tossing the slaw!

Cook the chicken
4

• In a large frying pan, heat a drizzle of olive oil over medium-high heat. • Cook chicken, in batches, until golden and cooked through, 3-6 minutes each side. TIP: Chicken is cooked through when it's no longer pink inside.

Make the gravy
5

• While the chicken is cooking, boil the kettle. • Halve bake-at-home burger buns. Place buns, cut-side up, on a second lined oven tray and sprinkle with shredded mozzarella. • In a third medium bowl, combine gravy granules, garlic paste, and the boiling water (1/2 cup for 2 people / 1 cup for 4 people), whisking, until smooth, 1 minute.

Finish & serve
6

• Top each bun with some potato rounds, seared chicken and creamy slaw. • Plate up remaining potato rounds and slaw. • Drizzle garlic gravy over potatoes to serve. Enjoy! Little cooks: Take the lead and help build the burgers!
