Cooking Steps

Bake the fries
1

• Preheat oven to 240°C/220°C fan-forced.
• Cut potato into fries. Place on a lined oven tray,
drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat.
• Bake until tender, 20-25 minutes.
• Sprinkle fries with chicken salt (see ingredients)
and toss to coat. Transfer to a bowl.

TIP: If your oven tray is crowded, divide fries between
two trays.
Little cooks: Help sprinkle over the chicken salt and
toss the fries!

Cook the sweetcorn
2

• Meanwhile, drain sweetcorn.
• Heat a large frying pan over high heat. Cook corn kernels until lightly browned, 4-5 minutes.
• Transfer to a bowl, then add the butter. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Cover to keep warm.

TIP: Cover the pan with a lid if the kernels are
“popping” out.

  • Chop broccoli (including stalk!) into small florets.
  • In a medium bowl, combine prawns, Aussie spice blend and the olive oil (1/2 tbs for 2 people / 1 tbs for 4 people).
  • Add cornflour and the plain flour to the prawn mixture and toss to coat.
Cook the prawns
4
  • Wipe out frying pan and return over medium-high heat.
  • In a large frying pan over medium-high heat, heat enough olive oil to coat the base. When oil is hot, dust off any excess flour from prawns and cook, tossing, until pink and starting to curl up, 3-4 minutes. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate. Season with salt.
Steam the broccoli & make the slaw
5

• Meanwhile, place broccoli on a large
microwave-safe plate. Cover with a damp
paper towel and microwave on high, 4 minutes.
• Drain, season with salt and pepper and set aside.
• In a second medium bowl, combine slaw mix, the
mayonnaise and a drizzle of white wine vinegar.

Little cooks: Take charge and help combine the slaw!

Finish & serve
6
  • • Just before serving, in a medium heatproof bowl,
combine gravy granules and the boiling water  (see ingredients), whisking, until smooth,  1 minute.
    • Bring everything to the table. Build your own plate
with Aussie prawns, chips, steamed broccoli,
slaw and gravy to serve. Enjoy!

If you’ve added pita bread: Microwave on a
microwave-safe plate until warmed through, 1 minute.
