Cooking Steps

Cook the dumplings
1

• Heat a large frying pan with a drizzle of olive oil over medium-high heat.
• When oil is hot, cook pork & chive dumplings, until pastry is golden and cooked
through, 2-3 minutes each side.
TIP: Ensure filling is piping hot before serving!

Get prepped
2

• Meanwhile, drain sweetcorn.
• Thinly slice spring onion.
• Microwave basmati rice until steaming, 90 seconds.

Make the fried rice
3

• Return the frying pan to medium high heat with a drizzle of sesame oil. Cook corn
until lightly browned, 4-5 minutes.
• Add the egg and cook, tossing, until scrambled, 1-2 minutes.
• SPICY! This is a mild stir-fry sauce, but use less if you’re sensitive to heat. Add
cooked rice, Korean stir-fry sauce (see ingredients), julienned carrot and the
soy sauce and cook until fragrant and combined, 2-3 minutes.
TIP: Add a splash of water if the fried rice looks dry.

Finish & serve
4

• Divide Korean fried rice between bowls.
• Top with pork dumplings and plant-based kimchi.
• Sprinkle with spring onion to serve. Enjoy!
