Cooked in the pan in a matter of minutes, our pork and chive dumplings are perfect for weeknights. In this Japanese-inspired dish, serve them over oyster sauce-tossed greens, bacon bits and zingy rice, then add the finishing touch with a moreish sauce, made with a mix of umami-rich soy, citrusy ponzu and creamy sesame dressing.

Produced in a facility that processes eggs, milk, fish, peanuts, sesame, shellfish, soy, tree nuts, and wheat.

Cooking Steps

Cook the ginger rice
1

• In a medium saucepan, heat the butter with a dash
of olive oil over medium heat. Cook ginger paste
until fragrant, 1-2 minutes.
• Add jasmine rice, the water and a generous pinch
of salt, stir, then bring to the boil.
• Reduce heat to low and cover with a lid.
• Cook for 10 minutes, then remove from heat and
keep covered until rice is tender and all the water is
absorbed, 10 minutes.

TIP: The rice will finish cooking in its own steam, so
don’t peek!

wilted, 1 minute.

Cook the dumplings
4

• Wipe out the frying pan, then return to medium-high
heat with a drizzle of olive oil.
• When oil is hot, cook pork & chive dumplings, until
pastry is golden and cooked through, 2-3 minutes
each side.
