Cooking Steps

Steam the corn
1

• Cut corn cob in half.
• Transfer corn to a large microwave-safe plate. Cover with a damp paper towel.
Microwave corn on high, until tender, 4-5 minutes.
• Drain any excess liquid. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
• Top corn with the butter and cover to keep warm.

Little cooks: Take charge by topping the corn with butter. Be careful, the plate is hot!

Cook the beef patties
2

• Meanwhile, in a large frying pan, heat a drizzle of olive oil over medium-high heat. Cook beef burger patty until just cooked through, 4-5 minutes each side
(cook in batches if your pan is getting crowded).
• In the last minute of cook time, sprinkle over some Aussie spice blend and cook, turning until fragrant.

Heat the burger buns
3

• While patties are cooking, halve bake-at-home burger buns and toast or grill to
your liking.
• Thinly slice tomato into rounds.

Finish & serve
4

• Spread burger bun bases with mustard mayo.
• Top buns with mixed salad leaves, tomato rounds, a beef patty and
tomato relish.
• Serve with buttery corn cob. Enjoy!

Little cooks: Take the lead and help build the burgers!

Customer reviews

Review summary

Updated on Feb 2026
  • Flavour:Ā Many enjoyed the taste, though some found the beef patty dry or lacking flavour. Consider adjusting seasoning to preference.
  • Ease of prep:Ā Quick and easy to prepare, with pre-made patties saving time. Some prefer making their own patties for better texture.
  • Suggestions:Ā Try using iceberg lettuce instead of mixed leaves for crunch. Adjust sauce amounts to personal taste.
  • Portions:Ā Several customers noted that one patty (about 130-160g) wasn't enough for two people. Consider increasing the meat portion.
