Cooking Steps

Get prepped & cook the beef

  • In a small bowl, combine oyster sauce, garlic paste, sesame oil blend, the brown sugar, the soy sauce and the vinegar.
  • In a large frying pan, heat a drizzle of olive oil over high heat. Season beef rump with salt and pepper. When oil is hot, cook beef, for 3-4 minutes for medium-rare, or until cooked to your liking. Transfer to a plate to rest until serving.

TIP: Cooking the beef in batches over high heat helps it stay tender.

Bring it all together

  • Return frying pan to high heat with a drizzle of olive oil. Cook Asian stir-fry mix with a splash of water until tender, 3-4 minutes.
  • Reduce heat to medium and stir through sauce mixture until warmed through, 1 minute.
Heat the rice

• Microwave basmati rice until steaming, 2-3 minutes.

Finish & serve

  • Slice beef.
  • Divide rice between bowls.
  • Top with beef and veggie stir-fry.
  • Sprinkle with crispy shallots to serve. Enjoy!
