- In a small bowl, combine oyster sauce, garlic paste, sesame oil blend, the brown sugar, the soy sauce and the vinegar.
- In a large frying pan, heat a drizzle of olive oil over high heat. Season beef rump with salt and pepper. When oil is hot, cook beef, for 3-4 minutes for medium-rare, or until cooked to your liking. Transfer to a plate to rest until serving.
TIP: Cooking the beef in batches over high heat helps it stay tender.
- Return frying pan to high heat with a drizzle of olive oil. Cook Asian stir-fry mix with a splash of water until tender, 3-4 minutes.
- Reduce heat to medium and stir through sauce mixture until warmed through, 1 minute.
• Microwave basmati rice until steaming, 2-3 minutes.
- Slice beef.
- Divide rice between bowls.
- Top with beef and veggie stir-fry.
- Sprinkle with crispy shallots to serve. Enjoy!
