Cooking Steps

Bake the fries

• Preheat oven to 240°C/220°C fan-forced.
• Place potato fries on a lined oven tray. Drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat.
• Bake until tender, 20-25 minutes.
TIP: If your oven tray is crowded, divide between two trays. 

Pickle the onion & get prepped

• Meanwhile, thinly slice red onion (see ingredients).
• In a small bowl, combine the white wine vinegar and a good pinch of sugar 
and salt.
• Scrunch sliced onion in your hands, then add it to pickling liquid. Add enough 
water to just cover onion. Set aside.
• Thinly slice cucumber into sticks. 

Cook chicken & bake the flatbreads

• When fries have 10 minutes remaining, place flatbreads on a second lined oven 
tray. Drizzle each with olive oil and season with salt. Bake until warmed through, 
4-7 minutes.
• In a large frying pan, heat a drizzle of olive oil over high heat. Cook chicken 
breast strips and paprika spice blend, tossing occasionally, until browned and 
cooked through, 3-4 minutes.
TIP: Chicken is cooked through when it is no longer pink inside.    

Finish & serve

• Drain pickled onion. 
• To the tray with fries, sprinkle over chicken salt (see ingredients) and toss 
• to coat.
• In a medium bowl, combine mixed salad leaves with a drizzle of olive oil and 
white wine vinegar. Season to taste.
• Spread each flatbread with garlic sauce. Top with salad, cucumber sticks, pickled 
onion and paprika chicken. Serve with chicken salt fries. Enjoy!
