• Preheat oven to 240°C/220°C fan-forced. • Place potato fries on a lined oven tray. Sprinkle over All-American spice blend, drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and toss to coat. • Bake until tender, 20-25 minutes.
TIP: If your oven tray is crowded, divide the fries between two trays.

• Meanwhile, thinly slice brown onion and capsicum. • In a large frying pan, heat a drizzle of olive oil over medium-high heat. Cook onion, stirring regularly, until softened, 5-6 minutes. • Reduce heat to medium. Add the balsamic vinegar, a splash of water and the brown sugar and mix well. Cook until dark and sticky, 3-5 minutes. Transfer to a small bowl.

• Return frying pan to high heat with a drizzle of olive oil. • Cook beef mince and capsicum, breaking up mince with a spoon, until just browned, 3-5 minutes. • Drain oil from pan. Stir in Nan's special seasoning until fragrant, 1 minute. Season with salt and pepper.

• Slice hot dog buns in half lengthways, 3/4 of the way through. Place on a second lined oven tray. • Top each bun with beef filling. Sprinkle over shredded Cheddar cheese. • Bake until golden and bubbling, 4-5 minutes.
• Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, combine gravy granules and the boiling water (1/2 cup for 2 people / 1 cup for 4 people), whisking, until smooth, 1 minute. • Stir in caramelised onion until combined. Season to taste.
• Divide Philly cheese sloppy joe subs and fries between plates. • Top rolls with 1/2 the gravy. Serve with remaining caramelised onion gravy. Enjoy!
