(Contains: Peanuts; May be present: Almond, Brazil nut, Cashew, Gluten, Hazelnut, Macadamia, Milk, Pecan, Pine nut, Pistachio, Sesame, Soy, Walnut, Wheat.)
2
Garlic
1 packet
Green Beans
1 packet
Jasmine Rice
(May be present: Gluten, Soy, Wheat.)
1 sachet
Southeast Asian Spice Blend
1 drizzle
olive oil
20 g
butter
(Contains: Milk;)
1 tbs
soy sauce
(Contains: Soy; May be present: Gluten.)
1 tbs
honey
1 tbs
cornflour
1 tsp
cracked black pepper
¼ tsp
salt
1.25 cup
water (for the rice)
¼ cup
water (for the sauce)

• Finely chop garlic.
• In a large saucepan, melt the butter and a dash
of olive oil over a medium heat. Cook garlic until
fragrant, 1-2 minutes.
• Add the water and a generous pinch of salt and
bring to the boil. Add jasmine rice, stir, cover with a
lid and reduce the heat to low. Cook for 10 minutes,
then remove from heat and keep covered until rice is
tender and water is absorbed, 10 minutes.
TIP: The rice will finish cooking in its own steam so
don’t peek!

• While the rice is cooking, trim and halve green
beans. Roughly chop Asian greens.
• In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, honey and
water (for the sauce). Set aside.

• In a large frying pan, heat a drizzle of olive oil over
medium-high heat.
• Cook green beans, tossing, until tender,
3-4 minutes. Add Asian greens and cook until
wilted, 1-2 minutes.
• Transfer to a bowl and cover to keep warm.

• In a medium bowl, combine the salt, cracked
black pepper, Southeast Asian spice blend and
the cornflour.
• Add beef strips to the spiced flour and toss to coat.
Little cooks: Take charge by combining the beef with
the seasoning!

• Wipe out frying pan, then return to high heat with a
drizzle of olive oil. When oil is hot, pick up the beef
using tongs and shake off any excess flour back into
the bowl.
• Add beef strips in batches and cook, tossing
occasionally, until browned and cooked through,
1-2 minutes. Remove pan from heat, then add the
honey-soy mixture, stir to combine.
TIP: Add a drizzle more oil between batches if
necessary! Cooking the meat in batches over high heat
helps it stay tender.

• Divide garlic rice between plates.
• Top with the honey soy veggies and Southeast
Asian-spiced beef.
• Garnish with crushed peanuts to serve. Enjoy!
Little cooks: Add the finishing touch by sprinkling over
the peanuts!
