Cooking Steps

1

• Boil the kettle. Cut potato into bite-sized chunks. • Half-fill a medium saucepan with the boiled water. Add chicken-style stock powder and heat over medium-high heat. • Cook potato in the boiling water until easily pierced with a fork, 12-15 minutes. • Drain potato, then return to saucepan. Add the butter and dill & parsley mayonnaise. Crumble in fetta cubes. Toss to combine and season to taste. Cover to keep warm.

2

• SPICY! The spice blend is mild, but use less if you're sensitive to heat. While the potato is cooking, combine All-American spice blend, a pinch of salt and pepper and a drizzle of olive oil in a medium bowl. Add chicken tenderloins, tossing to coat. • Set air fryer to 200°C. Place chicken into air fryer basket and cook, until browned and cooked through, 8-10 minutes. Cook in batches if needed.

TIP: No air fryer? In a large frying pan, heat a drizzle of olive oil over medium-high heat. Cook chicken until browned and cooked through (when it's no longer pink inside), 3-4 minutes each side. TIP: The spice blend will char slightly in the pan, this adds to the flavour!

3

• While the chicken is cooking, thinly slice apple into wedges. Roughly chop baby spinach leaves. • In a second medium bowl, combine a drizzle of vinegar and olive oil. Season, then add slaw mix, apple and spinach. Toss to combine.

4

• Divide American-spiced chicken and warm potato-fetta salad between plates. • Serve with apple slaw. Enjoy!

Customer reviews

Review summary

Updated on July 2026
  • Flavour:Ā The warm potato-fetta salad is the standout star, with the dill-and-parsley mayo and crumbled feta drawing consistent praise. The All-American spice blend adds a flavoursome coating to the chicken, though some found it mild and others felt it ran a little sweet or strong.
  • Ease of prep:Ā Most customers found this a quick and straightforward cook, well-suited to busy weeknights. A few noted the chicken tenderloins required trimming, and some suggested swapping to chicken breast for a cleaner result.
  • Suggestions:Ā Several customers felt the slaw needed a creamier dressing — coleslaw dressing, ranch, or mayonnaise were popular swaps in place of the vinegar-and-oil base. A few added bacon or spring onion to the potato salad for extra depth, and one customer found that wilting the baby spinach through the warm potatoes worked really well.
  • Leftovers:Ā This dish reheats well and holds up nicely the next day — many customers enjoyed the leftovers as a cold lunch, with the apple staying fresh and the potato salad tasting great chilled. Several noted that a two-person portion comfortably stretched to three serves.
  • Portions:Ā Portion feedback was mixed — some found the chicken quantity a little light, especially for families of four, while others noted the overall meal was generously sized and yielded extra for lunch.
