Old Bay doesn’t mess around. This iconic American spice blend brings heat, salt, and a whole lot of flavour to the table - the kind of seasoning that makes you wonder why you were ever cooking without it. Here, it’s worked into a pulled pork ragù that clings to every ribbon of fettuccine, with tender baby broccoli and a sprinkling of Parmesan to finish.

Produced in a facility that processes eggs, milk, fish, peanuts, sesame, shellfish, soy, tree nuts, and wheat.

Cooking Steps

Cook the fettuccine
1
  • Boil the kettle.
  • Half-fill a large saucepan with boiling water and add a generous pinch of salt.
  • Cook fettuccine over high heat, stirring occasionally, until ‘al dente’, 11 minutes.
  • Reserve pasta water (2 tbs per person). Drain fettuccine, then return to saucepan.
Get prepped
2
  • Meanwhile, trim baby broccoli.
  • Halve any thicker stalks of baby broccoli lengthways.
  • Finely chop garlic.
Cook the baby broccoli
3
  • In a large frying pan, heat a drizzle of olive oil over medium-high heat.
  • Cook baby broccoli, until tender, 5-6 minutes.
  • Transfer to a bowl, season and cover to keep warm.
Cook the pork
4
  • Return frying pan to medium-high heat.
  • Cook pulled pork, gently breaking apart, until heated through, 1-2 minutes.
  • Add garlic and Old Bay seasoning and cook until fragrant, 1 minute.

TIP: Add a splash of water if the pork looks dry!

Bring it all together
5
  • Reduce heat to medium-low, stir in diced tomatoes with garlic & onion and the reserved pasta water. Simmer until slightly thickened, 2-3 minutes.
  • Add cooked fettuccine, tossing until combined. Season to taste.

TIP: Add a splash of water if the pasta looks dry!

Finish & serve
6
  • Divide Old Bay pulled pork ragu fettuccine and sautéed baby broccoli between bowls. Sprinkle over Parmesan cheese to serve. Enjoy!
