Cooking Steps

Bake the fries
1

• Preheat oven to 240°C/220°C fan-forced.
• Cut potato into fries.
• Place on a lined oven tray. Drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and toss to coat.
• Bake until tender, 20-25 minutes.

TIP: If your oven tray is crowded, divide between two trays.
Little cooks: Help toss and season the fries!

Get prepped
2

• Meanwhile, finely shred baby cos lettuce (see ingredients).
• Thinly slice cucumber into rounds.
• In a medium bowl, combine the vinegar and a good pinch of sugar and salt. Add cucumber to pickling liquid. Add enough water to just cover cucumber. Set aside.
• In a second medium bowl, combine pork mince and savoury seasoning. Divide pork mixture evenly over one side of each flatbread and press down to spread.

TIP: Slicing the cucumber very thinly helps it pickle faster!

Cook the smashed cheeseburger flatbreads
3

• When the fries have 10 minutes remaining, heat a large frying pan over high heat with a drizzle of olive oil.
• Cook flatbreads, meat-side down, until pork is browned, 2-3 minutes (cook in batches if your pan is getting crowded).
• Carefully transfer flatbreads, meat-side up, to a second lined oven tray and sprinkle with Cheddar cheese.
• Bake until golden and cheese is melted, 3-5 minutes.

Finish & serve
4

• Drain cucumber.
• Divide smashed pork burger-style flatbread tacos between plates.
• Top each flatbread with some DIY pickles and cos. Drizzle with burger sauce.
• Serve with fries. Enjoy!

Little cooks: Add the finishing touch and help drizzle over the burger sauce!
