Managing My Account

Managing my first delivery (new customers)

As a new customer, you can choose from delivery windows 7 days a week* with a quick turnaround between placing your order and receiving your first box of delicious recipes! You can find the order cut-off for your first delivery in the ‘My Deliveries’ section of your account.

Any changes to your first box with the exception of selecting your meals need to be updated by our customer care team. You can chat with our customer care team here

Please note, following the delivery of your first box, your weekly order cut-off will follow the schedule detailed HERE.

*Not all delivery days are available in every postcode. Extended cut-off times are not guaranteed and are offered at the sole discretion of HelloFresh.

Is there a deadline for making changes to my order?

All changes (including meal swaps, skipping deliveries, changing your box type and cancelling your subscription) need to be made by the deadline. Payment will be taken the following day, so please ensure your payment details are up to date and that you have sufficient funds in your account.

What happens if I miss the cut off for making changes?

Life happens, we get it! That’s why we have a 15 hour grace period after your order cut-off where we may still be able to help. Make sure you reach out as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to work some magic - no promises, but we’ll try!

Please take a few minutes to ensure your details are all up to date and correct. Don't forget, if you need to make any changes to your upcoming delivery, make sure that you do so before your scheduled delivery cut-off which you can find in the ‘My Deliveries’ section of your account.

How do I cancel my subscription?

We're sorry to see you go! Keep in mind that you can always skip a delivery.

Cancelling your subscription is easy, you just need to go to follow these steps(please note, you cannot cancel through the app only the website):

  1. Log in to your HelloFresh account
  2. Click on your name at the top of the page, and then select 'Settings'.
  3. Choose the subscription you'd like to cancel from the green tabs and click on it. If you have more than one (for example an additional fruit or juice box), you'll have to cancel them separately.
  4. Click on 'Cancel my subscription' in the bottom right hand corner.
  5. We'd appreciate if you could complete the short survey and let us know what you thought of your HelloFresh experience or how we can do better.
  6. You will see the final screen confirming "Your subscription is now deactivated" and you will receive an email confirming your cancellation, please retain this for future reference.

    Please note, if you have an active voucher applied to your account it may become void once you cancel your subscription. We don’t want you to miss out so if you just want to take a break, you can always use the 'Skip’ option in your menu selection to skip weeks.

Can I cancel my subscription through the HelloFresh app?

You’re not able to cancel your subscription via the app but you can easily skip a week. Your subscription can be easily cancelled or skipped at any time through the HelloFresh website.

To cancel your subscription, simply follow these steps:

  2. Click on your name at the top of the page, and then select 'Settings'.

Having trouble accessing Freshy? Don’t worry we can help! If you can't see the pop-up, just check that your ad blocker is turned off or reach us via the app.

You can access Chef at any point by clicking the green message box icon located in the lower right corner of the Contact Us page.

Alternatively, you can also close Freshy at any point by clicking on the green x icon which is displayed when Freshy is open.

Why has my cut-off date changed?

We changed the cut-off to give customers more flexibility! We can now offer you a quicker turnaround between your order day and delivery day, plus more time to choose your weekly recipes!

In addition to this, it gives customers more opportunities to order throughout the week. Having one weekly cut-off doesn’t work for everyone, so we now have multiple cut-off days linked to delivery days across all 7 days of the week.

How can I skip/unskip my delivery?

It’s quick and easy! Just click here and select 'Edit delivery' then ‘Skip this week’. Remember this will only skip the selected week, and deliveries will resume again the following week. To skip for an extended period, you will need to skip each week individually.

I can't reset my password!

Having trouble resetting your password? How frustrating! We can think of a few reasons this may be:

Reset password link is going to Spam - Check your Spam to see if the email password reset is hanging out there instead of your inbox.

It's your browser - Try clearing the cookies and cache of your browser, as this sometimes stops the email from being sent. We always recommend using Chrome or Firefox to manage your HelloFresh account.

Incorrect email address - We've all been there! If you think this is the case, please get in touch with our Customer Care team here.

Can I add extra meals to my usual box size?
You bet! In the 'My Deliveries' area of your account where you select your meals, just select 'Add extra meal'. This will only apply to your next upcoming delivery, and your box will return to your regular number of meals after. You can select up to 10 meals per week. The price of the extra meals and your updated box price will be clearly displayed at the top of the page.

To update your delivery address, click here. You'll be directed to another window (please give it a moment to load, sometimes we're a little busy in the kitchen).

How do I swap/choose meals?

So you’ve ordered your box. Now for the fun part! Click here to choose your meals and create your perfect menu.

Can I select more than one of the same recipe?

You can! Whether you have guests coming for dinner or just want to enjoy the same delicious meal more than once in a week, you can now add extra servings of a recipe to your order. To select your meals, click here and add extra servings using the + and - buttons. Don’t forget to save your selection at the end.

Which menu preferences can I choose from?

That depends on what type of meals you like to eat and how many hungry mouths you have to feed! The preference you choose simply determines which of our delicious recipes are pre-selected for you and therefore appear at the top of your menu selection page each week. When you select a menu preference, you will still have access to our full choice of recipes every week.

Simply select your preference, the number of meals you want each week and the number of people you’re feeding. So, which plan type suits your household?

Classic: The perfect all rounder; designed to suit a variety of tastes with a range of different proteins, carbs and veggies. Think crowd-pleasers like chicken tacos, cheesy beef burgers and crumbed salmon.

Veggie: For the vegetarians or those who just like to include meat-free meals in their routine. You'll find a range of recipes like green fetta risotto, tofu coconut curry, and lentil lasagne.

Family Friendly: Best suited to those with kids under 12, these recipes keep younger tastes in mind. You'll get meals like pork and parmesan rissoles, honey mustard chicken and creamy bacon pasta. Kids will gobble down these delicious delicacies and we all know happy kids means happy parents!

Naturally Gluten Free: Suitable for customers with an intollerance to gluten or those who choose to avoid gluten. No ingredients in these recipes should contain gluten (e.g. rice does not contain gluten, so it is naturally gluten free) however, some suppliers may process ingredients containing gluten in their production facility, so there is a small risk of cross contamination therefore we do not recommend these recipes for coeliacs.

Calorie Smart: Perfect for health-conscious customers looking to make great lifestyle choices at dinner! The wholesome recipes are still full of delicious flavour, just with less than 650 calories per serve.

Quick & Easy: Perfect for those wanting dinner to fit around a busy lifestyle or those who simply want to spend less time in the kitchen. You’ll enjoy all kinds of meals from garlic beef tacos to Middle Eastern chicken, and some of the recipes can be ready in less than 25 minutes.

Carb Smart: Going easy on the carbs? This plan’s for you! These delicious recipes all have less than 650 calories and under 30g of carbs per serve. You’ll still enjoy delicious meals like haloumi roast veggie salad or a spiced pork steak with veggie fries, but you can relax knowing each recipe has lower carbs.

Pescatarian: This plan is perfect for you if you want to catch all of our delicious seafood and veggie recipes in your box.

Protein Rich: Up your daily protein intake with recipes that feature high-protein ingredients but still offer all the other important nutrients and delicious flavour too.

Flexitarian: Mix up your week with a delcious combination of vegetarian and meat recipes. Ideal if you are trying to cut down on meat consumption for your health or for the environment.
