This October, HelloFresh is proud to be partnering with Kool Beanz Academy, dedicated educators who are passionate about teaching sustainability and environmental care, incorporating eco-friendly activities into everyday learning and play.
Together, we are launching a first-of-its-kind food-waste workshop - The Climate Superstars Camp. This experience gives Aussie parents the chance to teach kids food waste reduction tips and inspire the next generation of climate leaders.

Why Food Waste Education Is Important
Food waste is an important issue affecting both our environment and our future generations. A recent national survey by HelloFresh, found that Aussie’s throw out 7.6 million tonnes of food waste each year. As a nation, this costs over $12 billion annually or up to $500 worth of food and ingredient waste per capita.
Key food waste habits including forgotten food, wasted leftovers and confusing expiry dates have led to 70% of Aussie parents feeling concerned about the impact on future generations. That's why HelloFresh is proud to lead the way for a new generation of Climate Superstars!
